Blinds in Dunkeld
Architect-led renovations with frameless glass, calling for concealed, recessed detailing.
Dunkeld and Dunkeld West carry a lot of architect-led renovation work, and that changes the brief. When the whole point of the glazing is that there is nothing around it, hanging visible hardware above the opening undoes the design.
So the specification here leans hard toward concealed blind boxes: a recess formed in the ceiling or bulkhead so the blind vanishes completely when raised. It has to be planned before the ceilings close, which is why we would rather see the drawings than the finished room.
Where the ceilings are already up, slim cassettes colour-matched to the joinery keep the line quiet. Either way, most of it is motorised — the openings are usually too tall and too wide to be worth operating by hand.
Dunkeld sits inside our core service area, so it is the same consultant-led measure, the same made-to-order manufacture and the same installation team we bring to Sandhurst itself. The measure is free either way.

What the light does here, and what we would fit where
Dunkeld's architect-led rebuilds bring frameless glass and concealed detailing, both of which are far easier to solve before a ceiling closes. The Papers explain why, alongside the sun-path reasoning behind every recommendation and the honest catch with each.
